    Biography:
    When Medway punk band, the Pop Rivets, broke up in 1980, Billy Childish & Bruce Brand formed a new group with their former roadies, Mickey Hampshire & Banana Bertie, who had been performing in a group called Mickey & The Milkshakes.
    Former Pop Rivet Russ Wilkins took over on bass from Bertie in 1982 before being replaced by John Gawen in 1984.
    Thee Milkshakes split in 1985 leaving a rich musical legacy & influencing generations of fans & musicians.
