From the mid 1980s until the mid 1990s, Lawrence, Kansas was a hotbed of music activity. In this post-punk/new wave scene, Ricky Dean Sinatra were one of the major bands. If you wanted to blow off steam, get wasted, dance the night away and generally have a great time, you went to the Bottleneck or the Replay on the weekend and saw this band. You were not disappointed.
