The Allman Joys - Spoonful (60'S FUZZ GARAGE ROCKER)

    Here are the Allman brothers Duane and Gregg in their band The Allman Joys pre-Allman Brothers Band. They do a fantastic rendention of the old blues classic Spoonful.

    May very well be the second best version after Howlin' Wolf's original. Released on Dial in 1966 thanks to John D. Loudermilk who saw them perform at a club in Nashville and decided to bring them into the studio.
