This killer was recorded by Florida boys in Atlanta, first released by Bill Smith's Charay label in Texas in '66 and then pressed again (by Palmer) in Michigan and the band pretended to be Canadians (phew!).
This group did a handful records on different labels, tho' most of the stuff was recorded in said Atlanta. This group was seasoned musicians and backed up the Shangri La's and Neil Diamond among others. The "Canadian Rogues" moniker was taken because they thought it would sound more "exotic"...
Willie Metts. Dane Streets, Harvey Criswell, Doug English. Ronnie Harrell. Rob Mansfield (replaced Ronnie), John Baldwin (replaced Doug)
Charay 19 - Lakeland FL USA 1966.
