Originally a doo-wop tune by the Vibrations (as My Girl Sloopy), then made famous by the McCoys (as Hang On Sloopy) in later part '65. But this here came out way before the McCoys famous version and they shared producer - the McCoys version originates from this arrangement(*). Burt Berns and Wes Farrell wrote it, but these gents seem to have credited it C. Jim. Those screams are something else. They got some revenge when they later recorded as Many Others and got a big hit in Japan(!) (*) Interview with John Schuessler, Tallahassee Democrat 03 Apr 1998
Band: Donnie Fields, John Schuessler, Johnny Teague, Dan Searcy, Ben Willis
