  1. (Mobile Fidelity 1003) This obscure, high powered instrumental which showcases the musical talents of L.A.'s 'Wrecking Crew' with the saxophone of Plas Johnson out front and center, is the creation of free lance musician, composer, arranger, Don Ralke.

Recorded at Hollywood's Gold Star Recording Studios, at just under two minutes in duration, the tension filled production is pure L.A. mid-60's surf/hot rod material that could have had more success had it not been issued on Brad Miller's then relatively unknown, Mobile Fidelity Records.

Miller along with Jim Connella created the company around 1958 where they initially recorded and issued LP's of on-location sounds of steam locomotives and the like. Although a few singles aimed at the pop music scene were released in the early 1960's, such as this Rhythm Masters disc, it was the combination of lushly orchestrated music mixed with recorded environmental sounds which gave birth to the 'Mystic Moods Orchestra'. Brad Miller produced a collection of these LP's issued on Philips, Warner Bros. and later reissued on his own Songbird Records label that turned the tide for the company.

Mobile Fidelity would eventually become the leader in recorded music for audiophiles in the 1970's-80's. The company continued on through the transition into digital recording and is currently operating under the name, MoFi Electronics.
