AWARE FOREVER x FOREVER AWARE (Official Video)

Every hero has an origin story.

Some of them follow an arc, others wander the wilderness until all that’s left are the correct answers to all the problems in the world. Our hero had a different method. He was more like Batman. He was clever, curious, intuitive, but mostly determined. And he was never quite sure whether he was a hero or a villain, but he knew laughter could cure just about anything.

He had a family, a wife and a son. His wife reminds us about the deep internal kindness that kept him on the right side of the line, but his son reminds us of the wonder. And we want to make sure that he is in a position to appreciate his father’s legacy as much as you do.

We are going to start a college fund, because that’s what people do. But it comes with a caveat. College isn’t the only way. Once upon a time, our friend tried college too. But it didn’t last long. Didn’t make sense. There is a version of truth that’s in books, and a version that roams, free range. We see some of that in his son, who’s red hair sits atop his hair like a fire coming from his mind. We want to leave behind some kind of trust, so that the fire can burn as bright as it needs to.

If it burns in books, so be it. But if it burns right out the end of a can, that’s okay too. We know that sometimes kids choose to go into the family business, and if, someday, he wants to spend his money on paint instead, so much the better for all of us. Hopefully he has his father’s gift, because the world needed that gift.

A piece of trivia: Early on, Aware originally went by Reps. We’re not going to make any jokes about the gym—everybody has to start somewhere, and he got big enough to carry any name he wanted. At five years old, his son is already going by “Master Goggles.” Even he understood his father was kind of a superhero. Help him carry that legacy forward. Aware did so much, but that child is the greatest thing he ever did. Or at least that’s what he thought. We’re sure you will agree.
