about: J’ai commencé à m’intéresser à la chose au siècle dernier, 97-98… Peut-être un peu avant ; Je me souviens de ces 45t des Space Beatniks, enregistrés à quatre mains avec Gore-K (rip), le split avec Jesse Hector et la collaboration avec Lighntnin’ Beat-Man pour quatre reprises d’Elvis façon garage-trash. On avait récupéré le magnéto Fostex 1/4" de Serge, chanteur-guitariste des Space, qui avait choisit d’aller visiter une autre planète…Un magnéto, une table de mix en carton, quelques micros et un Space Echo Roland RE 201, le début du carnage ! Je m’y suis mis gentiment avec mon groupe du moment, le Jerry Spider Gang, puis sont arrivés les Shoo Chain Brothers, Time-X… Les Magnetix. Le ton était donné, garage lofi sale et puissant dans la lignée de ce que l’on écoutait à l’époque, Oblivians, Gories, Devil Dogs, Chrome Cranks (pour faire court !). Vous retrouverez ici une compilation de morceaux enregistrés entre 2004 et 2019, « 15 ans de bruit, de fureur et de blues tragique ! ». La plupart sont inédits, certains très rares (mais nécessaires !)… Alors oui ça craque dans les coins, ça défonce les esgourdes, ça dérape sur la fuzz… Mais qu’est-ce que c’est bon !

I got down to it nicely with my group of the moment, the Jerry Spider Gang, then came the Shoo Chain Brothers, Time-X… The Magnetix. The tone was set, garage lofi dirty and powerful in the lineage of what we listened to at the time, Oblivians, Gories, Devil Dogs, Chrome Cranks (for short!). You will find here a compilation of songs recorded between 2004 and 2019, “15 years of noise, fury and tragic blues! ". Most are unpublished, some very rare (but necessary!) ... So yes it cracks in the corners, it smashes the esgourdes, it slips on the fuzz ... But what is it good!
