Track from the album: Income Tape Refund #1, releases June 4, 2021
about: It's been over a year now since Leipzig concert crew Income Tax Refund did what they like best - that is setting up shows. In order to make up for it now and fill the imminent gap still ahead of us, they decided to release of series of compilations with the musicians and artists they invited to play here in Leipzig over the course of the years.
This is #1 of these compilations–and from the vast and incongruous pool of artists that Income Tax Refund has been inviting over the last couple of years here's a discrepant review of some of the more punk-leaning musicians and non-musicians.
It ranges from local favs such as planets are on it and Lassie to artists from down the transnational highways like ROCK and Cagette and further on and over the great blue to bands like Casual Hex and Mystic Inane.
This is a digital-first release, but we will also re-use some old cassettes to produce a small tape edition.
All the proceeds of this one will go to Blindspots–a Leipzig-based organization that does humanitarian work in conflict areas such as on the Balkan route, where they support and aid refugees.

Thanks to all bands for participating and handing in their music for this!
