Stirling - " 5-song EP"

1 comment:

  1. Fiercely noisy No-Fi Rock'n'Roll punk by Essex's Stirling, recorded in 1996 and now released 25 years later thanks to the always right Atlanta label Chunklet Industries.

"Recorded in a rehearsal studio, Southend on Sea, Essex 1996

The general idea was to create a raw, primal R’n’B tantrum of fuzz and ear piercing feedback, a triumph of attitude over talent. each song dumber than the previous, in our heads we wanted to create what it would be like to stand in a record store that was playing "Back From The Grave Vol.4" at ear splitting volume whilst on another competing turntable GG’s "Hated in The Nation" vied for attention during which Beat Happening would be playing an in store…turns out we were pretty much alone in that wish but with the hindsight of 24 years its now time to unleash the majesty of Stirling."
