Beast within the Sound (often abbreviated as BWTS) are a Czech thrash metal band formed in 2009 in Prague. This Quintet of the Prague’s finest underground thrashers currently consists of guitarists Julian Lamas and Jan Peš, drummer Jirka Zajíc, lead vocalist Filip Škobis and bassist Jakub Prokop. The band has released three albums - LP’s Eternal Conflict (2013), ...and Vice Versa (2018), the latest EP Propulsion of War (2018) and has shared the stage with the likes of Machine Head, Testament, M.O.D. etc. Not to mention the successful European tour in support of their debut album Eternal Conflict and numerous local shows across the Czech Republic.
