"Scraps Vol. 1" is a hastily assembled collection of b-sides, demos, covers, and rarities that have otherwise not seen the light of day. Some didn't make it onto albums, but played heavily live. Others were intended on being singles or EPs that just didn't to come to fruition. Others were demos that were subsequently rerecorded. We hope these songs tide you over until the new LP drops. Love and thanks to Kenneth Roy Meehan for the sonic mastery here."

    about:
Track 1: Recorded by us at Bachelor's Paradise on September 15 2015.

Tracks 2-5: Recorded/mixed at Boxcar Sound by Sean Pearson during the recording session for 'TWO', over a few days in September 2013.

Tracks 6-8: Recorded by Nancy Urich in beautiful West Pennant, Nova Scotia on April 5/6 2016, on our last east coast tour.

Tracks 9-12: Recorded live-of-the-floor/"mixed" by us on a 4-track in our former jam space (LMNOP), August 14 2014. These were demos that were later rerecorded for Bad Luck Charms.

Track 13: Craig from Schizophrenic had introduced us to Edgar Breau from Simply Saucer and convinced us to work on a record together. After exchanging a few emails, we asked Edgar to come down to a rehearsal at Bachelor's Paradise on December 9 2014. Here we ran through Illegal Bodies a couple times together, smoked a joint, and then laid this take down live off the floor. Dave did the vocals a few days later. To date, this is the only document of this would-be Saucer Freaks record. Hopefully we'll get our shit together one day to pull it off (sorry Craig!). A rough mix of this song was included on the digital compilation that came with Jesse Locke's "Heavy Metalloid Music: The Story of Simply Saucer" book.
