50's Rock 'n' Roll band from Holland. The Band was formed in may 1982 and already two months later the band presented itself live on stage for the first time. It was obvious that the musicians had to choose an appropriate name for the band.The name of the band came together when Ron stumbled on a fifties band Ron Haydock and the Boppers.Because the name Ron Haydock sounded great and really was the band name in the good old tradition of the fifties with bands like Bill Haley and the Comets etc, etc the guys decided to pick Ronnie Nightingale and the Haydocks as the name of their band. From that time the band only released records under the name Ronnie Nightingale and The Haydocks.
