Then with Garage/Psychobilly legends The Vibes (‘83-‘86) one of John Peels/BBC all time greatest discoveries. Lloyd filled in on bass with The Stingrays (’84-’85) during which time he also played with the Blubbery Hellbellies (’83-’85) which was named by friend and Pouges frontman Shane MacGowan. Performing as Rockin’ Lloyd Tripp since his arrival in the US in ’86. With his musical career spanning nearly 3 decades, 4 CD’s later Lloyd is now calling Austin, TX home. Whether you catch Rockin’ Lloyd Tripp pummeling his upright bass or bending his guitar he is still pumping out 100% original songs from the heart.
