The Bad Back Bones kicked off in 2008 when 4 musicians from Helmond (South Netherlands) with extensive musical experience (Catslappin' Chrissy, Four Dices, Hi-Tombs, Ernix, Casual Silence, Stardusters) met in a local bar. Their binding love for rockabilly and rock 'n' roll and with the help of their mutual friend Erik van Tilburg (Vibrotones, Hummingbirds, Feliciano's) they eventually sat down together to join forces. The name Bad Back Bones is originated in the fact that people from Helmond are alleged to all have and complain about a bad back. (for which never any scientific proof has been deliverd... ;))
