about: High Totals done did it again. The FINAL SOLUTION EP contains two brand new blazing originals in the vein of the old Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies and Bad Brains records. The two cover songs (Final Solution by Pere Ubu and Outcast by Heresy) perfectly fit the spirit of this homespun 4-songer.
The artwork (created by singer/guitarist Pete Koneda) juxtaposes a hand-drawn vintage Holiday Inn hotel sign against a marquee phrase documenting the moment where Pere Ubu’s lyrical character prepares to succumb to whatever fate awaits. What is the FINAL SOLUTION? The answer? Guitars that sound “like a nuclear destruction”, of course.
FINAL SOLUTION clocks in at just under 11 minutes and was recorded at Parts Unknown (HT’s home studio) and mastered by Vince at Mt Doom. Outcast was also recorded at Mt Doom in addition to being mastered there.
