From OP: The basic story behind this tape goes like this: Erik Nervous is a musician. Erik Nervous makes music by himself. Erik Nervous then puts a band together. Said band -- hereby dubbed "Erik Nervous & The Beta Blockers" -- releases their debut self-titled LP in March of 2019. Said LP is duplicated onto cassettes and sold through their respective Bandcamp page. Approximately half of said cassettes are then "lost" by the United States Postal Service upon shipment, through a process Erik has referred to as "reverse mail fraud", meaning they can no longer be found on this mortal plane of existence-- at least, as far as the United States Postal Service is concerned. Which I guess they're not.
Erik Nervous then duplicates a second, extra-special run of their LP cassette as recompense, with an A-side that contains the original LP recordings, as well as a newly-added B-side which features an assortment of demos, covers, and other instrumental oddities. These tapes were then mailed to those whose cassettes were consumed by the ever-insatiable maw of the United States Postal Service, for their exclusive enjoyment... at least, that was the case until THIS particular idiot got ahold of it.
I'm just the messenger here though. Thank you to Sam for providing the audio for Side B. To reiterate, the A-side is just the band's debut LP in full, as it originally appeared. The B-side contains all the bonus tracks, so skip to 33:06 if you just wanna listen to the "new" material. As for the general feel of this tape's contents... well, it's Erik Nervous. You already know the deal here: it's scrappy art punk junk stuff. Oh, and also: I don't really know what this tape is titled exactly. I'm just gonna go with "The USPS Tape" for the time-being. I can change it later if needed.
