'62 Special" is a collection of six original guitar instrumental pieces by David Walsh plus an interpretation of the Chantays "Pipeline". All electric guitar instrumentals were composed and arranged with the feel of the sixties surf rock era in a fond recollection of David's early band days.
The album was a collaboration between David and his son Benjamin Walsh. Ben also played drums, bass, percussion on the album. Benjamin also added flute on "Night of the Living Chiko roll".
The album was recorded mixed and mastered by Benjamin Walsh at Groovelands, Byron Bay NSW
