Jettes (Berlin Germany) is a long-distance platonic love affair between Laura Lee and Melody Connor. What started out as a musical internet friendship fully developed when Connor packed his bags and made the move from Seattle to Berlin. Stranded on Laura’s couch, the two wrote grungy Rock’n’Roll songs about a plane hijacker, long-lost childhood loves and feeling awkward at gallery openings.

While Connor brought his love for contemporary surf and garage rock to the table, Lee threw in some B52s-esque vocal harmonies and lo-fi production techniques. The result is a fast-paced EP with both grungy and energetic Rock’n’Roll songs.
