Iain "Houndog" Terry (vocals/guitar) played in his first band in 1964, and then in various roc 'n' roll bands throughout the 60's. Iain was a co-founding member of Matchbox in 1973 along with Fred Poke, Jimmy Redhead and Wiffle Smith. They released their first single for the Dawn Label in 1975 entitled "Rock 'n' Roll Band". Iain left Matchbox in 1976 and joined Rock Island Line; he toured Europe for two years with this line-up backing Screaming Lord Sutch (LP/CD Murder in the Graveyard), Iain formed The Spys and Line Records released the LP "Spy's" in Germany. He was a session musician working for the BBC with the producer Phil Bailey. He also recorded for the Elvis Show in London. Iain Terry made his first solo recording "Chicken Shack Shuffle" which is currently on re-release. Over the years, Iain has had much of his work released on CD and vinyl. He claims a career highlight of having had the privilege of backing Muddy Waters.
