    Biography:
Supersonics was founded in 2016 by Pascal and Jeroen and John Hofmans, John Rietberg came later part of the band. It began when I started writing my own songs. The main goal was to start a band with strictly original songs, in all kinds of different roots styles without being limited to one genre in specific, like I was used to. And without being labelled as being "a rockabilly band" or a "a country band", all doors were standing wide open to create something that I had in my head for a long time already. No labels, just rocksteady original songs in all kinds of roots styles. The songs blend between rock 'n roll, country, americana, rhythm 'n blues and rockabilly and even some 60's (garage). The main sound of the band is raw and firm, with two electric lead guitars headlining that sound. The Telecaster and Gretsch guitar blend perfectly together and they throw in a unique sound together. The backbeat is tight with big drums and big ol' upright bass. It creates a thumping sound in very songs and makes it swing like a king!

Just come and see us on the road somewhere, Supersonics are guaranteed to blow your socks off!
