Los Daytonas formed in Madrid, Spain in the summer of 1997 by Paco Alonso. They were active until 2006, playing very few shows during this first period. They recorded two albums with cover versions of instrumental surf classics: "Bad News" (Racing Records, 2001), ''Off The Line !!'' (Racing Records, 2005). At the end of 2012, they returned with new members but always faithful to the classic instrumental sound of the sixties. With the new formation they released: ''The Daytonas in the Wild West '' (EP) (Racing Records, 2015), "Directo en Delia Records" (Live album) (Racing Records, 2017) and "Twang Or Die" (LP) (Sleazy Records, Roctopus Tea Party Records, Ola Records and Green Cookie Records, 2018).
