about: Raunchy full length album with 11 songs of fierce, aggressive, and dynamic psychobilly, surf, metal, punk rock pandemonium!
Recorded sometime in the early 2000's at Warehouse Studio in Omaha, NE, (where "Convoy" was recorded), by engineer Jim Homan.
One of the most memorable moments was when the singer, Chad Lottmann, could not just stand in one position and bolt out the vocals. His vocals are pure emotion, and he needed to move around like he was playing a live show in order to capture the true essence of his sound. So, Jim gave him 20 feet of chord, and let him go. It worked like a charm, and it was very entertaining to watch!
Soon after the recording was done, the band pretty much imploded because we were a bunch of controlling egomaniacs who fought with each other and partied too much, and the recording was shelved. Typical.
After a couple years, Filthy Few got wiser, reformed, and started gigging again. In 2007, a good friend of ours, Alex Blume of Ares Kingdom, offered to fund the completion of the album under his label Ass End Records. So we went back into the studio, and pretty much sat there and watched Jim Homan mix and master the album.
We worked closely with Marc Manriquez, a renowned local artist and great friend, to create the very ambitious 12 page CD booklet. Unfortunately, Marc has since then passed away. We love and miss him.
The finished CD was released in 2007.
