LYRICS: Back when they were writing all the history books there was a little bit of history that they overlooked It was about a hundred thousand million BC and the dinosaurs were rockin’ way before you and me They ruled the earth, gave Rock’n’Roll its birth nobody could stop em cause they were there first
Stegosaur was dancing with Tyrannosaurus Rex Triceratops was angry cause he thought that he was next things were getting tight, in stepped the Diplodocus said “If you wanna fight, you have to fight the lot of us” He went in for the tackle, twisted his ankle, he was flapping on the floor like a Pterodactyl
DINOSAUR ROCK, dinosaur roll I’m a cold-blooded lizard, ain’t got no soul Moving around, stomping your feet rockin’ to the rhythm of a prehistoric beat
It was getting pretty late, about a quarter to ten the dinosaurs were rockin’ again and again They went all night till a quarter to five with a Stegosaurus Stomp and a Jurassic Jive they did the Cretin Hop, until they couldn’t stop one by one they all started to drop
Archeologists were digging and they found the remains of a race of giant lizards with tiny little brains Where they all went, nobody knows some people say they drowned, some people say they froze But if you make a distinction between the fact and the fiction you’ll see the truth of it is they rocked themselves to extinction

LYRICS:
Back when they were writing all the history books
there was a little bit of history that they overlooked
It was about a hundred thousand million BC
and the dinosaurs were rockin’ way before you and me
They ruled the earth, gave Rock’n’Roll its birth
nobody could stop em cause they were there first
Stegosaur was dancing with Tyrannosaurus Rex
Triceratops was angry cause he thought that he was next
things were getting tight, in stepped the Diplodocus
said “If you wanna fight, you have to fight the lot of us”
He went in for the tackle, twisted his ankle,
he was flapping on the floor like a Pterodactyl
DINOSAUR ROCK, dinosaur roll
I’m a cold-blooded lizard, ain’t got no soul
Moving around, stomping your feet
rockin’ to the rhythm of a prehistoric beat
It was getting pretty late, about a quarter to ten
the dinosaurs were rockin’ again and again
They went all night till a quarter to five
with a Stegosaurus Stomp and a Jurassic Jive
they did the Cretin Hop, until they couldn’t stop
one by one they all started to drop
Archeologists were digging and they found the remains
of a race of giant lizards with tiny little brains
Where they all went, nobody knows
some people say they drowned, some people say they froze
But if you make a distinction between the fact and the fiction
you’ll see the truth of it is they rocked themselves to extinction
