But his guitar was edited out and Mick Taylor's guitar was dubbed in at the last minute, before its release as a single in the UK on July 3, 1969. Also released as a US single on July 11, 1969, went to # 1 on the charts in both the US and UK. Released September 12, 1969 on the album "Through the past, darkly (big hits, volume 2)".
