The Bardulians is a quartet of jazz, funk, soul and instrumental rythm & blues that was formed at the beginning of 2012 in Bilbao. Their musicians come from the most representative bands of the current black scene in Euskadi, such as The Cherry Boppers, Akatz, Priscilla Band, Potato, ... With their bardulian cadence, The Bardulians manage to get everyone who is willing to taste their sound in motion, also those who do not. The bardulian rhythm, synonymous with rhythm and party, is driven by a powerful rhythm section by Lando Stone (bass) and Xavier Urrutikoetxea (drums). The magnetism that flows in bardulianism is transmitted by the hammond of Joseba Negro. The sweetness is borne by Iskander Vesga's sax. The Bardulians seek inspiration in the 60s and early 70s, when the analog recording was responsible for showing the sound of the golden age of Soul. The Bardulian rhythm gets back to old times, where the atmospheres were soft and the Latin rhythm served as an offering to dance and fun. His musicians bring us to our era classics of great artists like Lou Donaldson, Ottis Redding, Horace Silver, Aretha Franklin, Gil Scott-Heron, Billy Preston and also small tributes to bands like Sly & The Family Stone, The Meters and even the well-known The Beatles or The Rollin'Stones. A modern sound for the young Euskal Herria!
