From OP: Oak Bay is the 2nd song on the B-side of our new album. It’s among our personal favourites to perform live, it’s ”fullt ställ” as we say in Swedish.
Here’s the back story of the song:
Jonas Lindholm: A tune which was written directly after we recorded our first album. The title is a cheap rum brand and has nothing to do with the song itself. Lyrically it’s a mixture of different ideas put together to work with the chorus, which was written early on.
Staffan Flodmark: Wanted to make a song to sound like something released by Elektra in 67. Simple but rhythmic.
Mathias Westerlund: A favourite and a fun song to play. Everybody pushes the song to the limit. Pounding and driving beat from Per on the drums and Johan on bass. Great vocal harmonies, jangly guitars and messy break, what more can you ask for. It rips!
Per Wollbrand: Yes, fun to play with a great drive all the way. Give me some Love vibes.
