From OP: Jeff Beck was one of the three principal lead guitarists of The Yardbirds, the other two being Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. In 1966, 1967 and 1968, Beck recorded his best-known album, Truth, with the help of Rod Stewart on vocals. The album was released in August 1968 and many may remember it for this blues rocking classic, "I Ain't Superstitious." For decades now this track has been a favorite of FM radio classic rock disk jockeys around Halloween time. Beck's version of the Howlin' Wolf original from 1961 has been ranked number 86 on Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time". Following on the heels of my video of "Badge" by Cream, I decided this blues rock classic would make a perfect Halloween video. If you don't have the album, this song, along with "Beck's Bolero," is well worth the price of admission.
